# Get the exact Standard Applicant record by ID

`GET /standard-applicants/by-id/{id}`

## Request

Returns the record identified by its ID, including historical or inactive versions. Unknown IDs return 404 without selecting another record with the same code.

Standard Applicant found

- StandardApplicantGetDetailDto: Standard Applicant reference data. Only code, name and usage dates are exposed; personal and contact details are excluded.
  - `code` string, required: Code that identifies the Standard Applicant.
  - `name` string: Name of the Standard Applicant.
  - `startDate` string, date, required: Date the applicant record became active.
  - `endDate` string, date, nullable, required: Date the applicant became inactive. `null` indicates that this row is still active.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters.
- `401`: Authentication required or token invalid.
- `403`: Authenticated but not permitted to perform this action.
- `404`: The requested resource was not found.
- `406`: Requested media type/version not acceptable.
- `500`: Unexpected server error.
