# Get a specific Standard Applicant by code.

`GET /standard-applicants/{code}`

## Request

- Base URL: `/` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/standard-applicants/{code}`
- Auth: none declared

Returns a Standard Applicant record matching the supplied code without applying
lodgement-date effective filtering. Where multiple records share the same code,
the current active or latest record is selected using deterministic reference-data ordering.

Standard Applicant found

- StandardApplicantGetDetailDto: Standard Applicant reference data. Only code, name and usage dates are exposed; personal and contact details are excluded.
  - `code` string, required: Code that identifies the Standard Applicant.
  - `name` string: Name of the Standard Applicant.
  - `startDate` string, date, required: Date the applicant record became active.
  - `endDate` string, date, nullable, required: Date the applicant became inactive. `null` indicates that this row is still active.

- `400`: Invalid request parameters.
- `401`: Authentication required or token invalid.
- `403`: Authenticated but not permitted to perform this action.
- `404`: The requested resource was not found.
- `406`: Requested media type/version not acceptable.
- `500`: Unexpected server error.
