# Get Application Codes (paginated, filterable)

`GET /application-codes`

## Request

- Base URL: `/` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)

Returns a paginated list of Application Codes.
- Filters:
  - `code` – case-insensitive partial match
  - `title` – case-insensitive partial match

## Query parameters

- `code` string

- `date` string, date
- `pageNumber` integer
- `pageSize` integer
- `sort` string[]

- ApplicationCodePage: Generic Spring Data page.
  - `pageNumber` integer, required: Zero-based page index.
  - `pageSize` integer, required: Page size.
  - `totalElements` integer, required: Total number of elements across all pages.
  - `totalPages` integer: Total number of pages.
  - `sort` Sort: Sorting state for the returned page.
    - `orders` SortOrdersInner[]: Active sort orders in priority order.
      - `property` string, required: Property name used for sorting.
      - `direction` 'asc' | 'desc', required: Sort direction.
  - `first` boolean
  - `last` boolean
  - `elementsOnPage` integer, required: Total number of elements in the current page.
  - `content` ApplicationCodeGetSummaryDto[], required
    - `applicationCode` string, required: Code that identifies the application.
    - `title` string, required: Human-readable title.
    - `wording` TemplateDetail, required: The wording details
      - `template` string, required: The template name. It contains the field names between curly braces.
      - `substitution-key-constraints` TemplateKeyWithConstraint[]: A list of fields and the associated constraints
        - `key` string, required: Field key for substitution into the template.
        - `value` string: The optional value for the key.
        - `constraint` TemplateConstraint, required: The template field with an associated value
          - `type` 'TEXT', required: The data type of the value.
          - `length` integer, required: The length of the data value.
    - `isFeeDue` boolean, required: True if Application List Entries using this Application Code require an Application List Entry Fee Status to be created and linked.
    - `requiresRespondent` boolean, required: True if Application List Entries using this Application Code require a respondent to be created and linked.
    - `bulkRespondentAllowed` boolean, required: True if Application List Entries using this Application Code allow multiple respondents to be created and linked.
    - `feeReference` string, nullable: A short reference code that identifies a Fee.
    - `feeAmount` ApplicationCodeGetDetailDtoFeeAmount, nullable: Fee amount for this Application Code, expressed in pence (GBP minor units). Always use integer values; 1 GBP = 100 pence.
      - `value` integer, required: Amount in pence.
      - `currency` 'GBP': ISO 4217 currency code (always "GBP" for now).
    - `feeDescription` string, nullable: Descriptive text for the fee.
    - `offsiteFeeReference` string, nullable: A short reference code that identifies a offsite Fee.
    - `offsiteFeeAmount` ApplicationCodeGetDetailDtoOffsiteFeeAmount, nullable: Offsite Fee amount for this Application Code, expressed in pence (GBP minor units). Always use integer values; 1 GBP = 100 pence.
      - `value` integer, required: Amount in pence.
      - `currency` 'GBP': ISO 4217 currency code (always "GBP" for now).
    - `offsiteFeeDescription` string, nullable: Descriptive text for the offsite fee.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters.
- `401`: Authentication required or token invalid.
- `403`: Authenticated but not permitted to perform this action.
- `406`: Requested media type/version not acceptable.
- `500`: Unexpected server error.
