# Send the branded email-verification message

`POST /api/users/verification-email`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hiyd.ai`
- URL: `https://api.hiyd.ai/api/users/verification-email`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Generates a Firebase verification link, rewrites it onto this API's domain (so it can open in the hiyd app) and emails it. The recipient is always taken from the caller's Firebase ID token, never from the request body. Callable before backend registration, since during signup the user exists in Firebase only.

## Response `200`

Email sent, or the address was already verified

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid Firebase token
- `429`: Too many verification emails requested
