# Resolve a project by its prefix (case-insensitive)

`GET /api/workspaces/{workspaceId}/projects/by-prefix/{prefix}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://hiveship.app/api`
- URL: `https://hiveship.app/api/api/workspaces/{workspaceId}/projects/by-prefix/{prefix}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `hiveship_access`
  - HTTP bearer

Resolves a project from its prefix (e.g. `PLAT`) within the workspace. Backs the friendly project URL `/app/{workspaceSlug}/projects/{PREFIX}` and the issue-key loader cold-cache fallback (PLAT-81). Includes the triage Inbox project (unlike the list). The two-segment path keeps it clear of `GET :projectId`. 404 on a miss.
