# Preview what changing to another plan costs today

`POST /api/workspaces/{workspaceId}/billing/change-plan/preview`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://hiveship.app/api`

- Auth: API key in cookie `hiveship_access`

Drives the change-plan dialog's amount line. Prorated for the remainder of the current period on an upgrade, returned as credit on a downgrade, and zero while trialing. Idempotent; raises no invoice and moves no money.
