# Archive team

`POST /api/user/teams/{id}/archive`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://demo.hitkeep.com`
- URL: `https://demo.hitkeep.com/api/user/teams/{id}/archive`
- Auth: API key in cookie `hk_token`

Archives a non-default team after all sites have been transferred or removed.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Archive team response

- TeamArchiveResponse
  - `active_team_id` string, uuid
  - `recent_team_ids` string[]
  - `status` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Cannot archive the default team or a team that still owns sites
- `403`: Only owners can archive teams
