# Delete passkey

`DELETE /api/user/security/passkeys/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://demo.hitkeep.com`
- URL: `https://demo.hitkeep.com/api/user/security/passkeys/{id}`
- Auth: API key in cookie `hk_token`

Deletes a registered passkey only when another passkey, social provider, or enabled password remains usable.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

Passkey deleted

## Other responses

- `404`: Passkey not found
- `409`: Passkey is the last usable primary login method
