# Preview social completion

`POST /api/auth/social/preview`

## Request

Returns safe provider and observed-email metadata for a still-valid completion token. Provider subjects are never returned.

  - `completion_token` string, required
  - `email` string, email: HitKeep target email required for a first unauthenticated Microsoft link.

  - `display_name` string, required
  - `email_confirmation_required` boolean, required: Whether this completion requires the user to confirm a HitKeep email before continuing.

  - `provider` 'google' | 'github' | 'microsoft', required
