# Delete CustomerInvoiceCharge

`DELETE /provider/customer_invoices/{customer_invoice_id}/charges/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sandbox.hint.com/api`
- URL: `https://api.sandbox.hint.com/api/provider/customer_invoices/{customer_invoice_id}/charges/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `AUTHORIZATION`

The invoice must be in `draft` status. Deleting a charge from an issued invoice fails with
`422 Invoice must be in draft status`; return the invoice to draft first. Deleting a charge
releases any coverage allowance or prepaid package item it consumed.
