# Mark a recorded artifact as the one automated deploys ship

`PATCH /v1/edge/mender/software-releases/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hify.club`
- URL: `https://api.hify.club/v1/edge/mender/software-releases/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-User-Token`

Admin only. Sets latest on this row and clears it on the previous latest row for the same device type. latest must be true.

Release marked latest

  - `id` integer
  - `artifact_name` string
  - `device_type` string
  - `latest` boolean: Rollout pin for automated deploys. Not the newest upload.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not found
- `422`: latest was not true
