# Update a device

`PATCH /v1/edge/devices/{id}`

## Request

## Request body

- object
  - `device` object, required
    - `facility_id` integer, nullable
    - `status` 'pending' | 'accepted' | 'rejected' | 'preauthorized' | 'noauth'
    - `upload_mode` 'continuous' | 'on_demand': on_demand uploads only footage a game claims. Pushes a new config to the device.
    - `preview_generation_enabled` boolean: Pushes a new config to the device.
    - `archive_disk` boolean: false for an SSD-only Pi with no archive HDD (sent as gateway.archive_enabled). Pushes a new config to the device.
