# Bootstrap a device with config and the latest artifact

`POST /v1/edge/devices/{id}/bootstrap`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hify.club`
- URL: `https://api.hify.club/v1/edge/devices/{id}/bootstrap`
- Auth: API key in header `X-User-Token`

Enqueues a config deployment and a deployment of the artifact marked latest. Returns 422 when the device has no facility, no arena, or no release is marked latest.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not found
- `409`: Device is decommissioned
- `422`: Device is not ready to bootstrap, or no release is marked latest
