# Get a short-lived pass for the live score cable

`POST /v1/auth/cable_token`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hify.club`
- URL: `https://api.hify.club/v1/auth/cable_token`
- Auth: API key in header `X-User-Token`

Browsers cannot set headers on a WebSocket, so they connect to /cable with this pass in the URL (`?cable_token=…`) instead of the session token. The pass lasts one hour and only works on the cable; fetch a new one before connecting once it has expired.

## Response `200`

Pass issued

- CableToken
  - `cable_token` string
  - `expires_in` integer: Seconds until the pass stops working

- `401`: Unauthorized
