# Cancel a crypto transfer

`POST /v2/wallets/transfers/{transferId}/cancel`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Cancel a pending crypto transfer on Canton chain. Only transfers with status PENDING can be cancelled.

## Path parameters

- `transferId` string, required

## Request body

- CancelCryptoTransfer
  - `requestId` string, uuid, required: unique identifier for the cancellation request (recommend using uuid v4 or v5)

## Response `200`

Success

- CancelCryptoTransferResponse
  - `message` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - validation error
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Resource not found
- `500`: Internal Server Error
