# Reject a transfer

`POST /v2/transfer-approvals/{approvalId}/reject`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://production.hifibridge.com`
- URL: `https://production.hifibridge.com/v2/transfer-approvals/{approvalId}/reject`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Reject a pending transfer. This will cancel the transfer and return funds to the sender.

## Path parameters

- `approvalId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- RejectTransferRequest: Request body for rejecting a transfer
  - `reason` string: Reason for rejecting the transfer

## Response `200`

Transfer rejected successfully

- RejectTransferResponse
  - `success` boolean: Whether the operation was successful
  - `message` string: Human-readable message about the operation
  - `approvalId` string, uuid: ID of the approval being processed
  - `status` 'REJECTED': Current status after rejection
  - `reason` string: Reason for rejection
  - `timestamp` string, date-time: When the rejection was processed

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Resource not found
- `500`: Internal Server Error
