# Position opening updated webhook

`POST positionOpeningUpdated` (webhook)

Webhook sent when position opening fields are modified. Position openings are always linked
to a Position in Bob.

The payload includes `fieldUpdatesIds` to indicate which fields were changed.

**Best practice:** Use the event as a notification only, and retrieve the complete position
opening details using the <a href="https://apidocs.hibob.com/reference/post_positions-position-openings-search" target="_blank">Read company positions openings</a> API endpoint.
Use the `fieldUpdatesIds` from the payload to retrieve only the updated field values.

- PositionOpeningUpdatedEvent: Webhook sent when position opening fields are modified.
  - `companyId` number, required: The company ID
  - `type` 'workforcePlanning.positionOpening.updated', required: The event type for position opening update
  - `triggeredBy` string, required: The backend-id of the employee that triggered the event or 'system' for events triggered automatically by the system
  - `triggeredAt` string, date-time, required: The timestamp when the event occurred
  - `version` string, required: The webhook version
  - `data` object, required: Contains the actual data and differs for each event type
    - `positionOpeningId` number, required: The ID of the updated position opening
    - `fieldUpdatesIds` FieldId[], required: List of field paths that were updated
      - `id` string, required: The field path (e.g., /position/status)

## Acknowledgement `200`

Webhook received successfully

- `400`: Invalid webhook payload
