# Get job family metadata

`GET /job-catalog/job-families/metadata`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hibob.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.hibob.com/v1/job-catalog/job-families/metadata`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - HTTP bearer

Returns a list of all fields of object type job family.<br/> <br /><br /> **<b>Required permissions</b>** <br /> The service user making the call must have the required permissions: see <a href="/reference/job-catalog#permissions-required" target="_blank">Permissions required</a>. <br />

  - `id` string: ID of the field.
  - `name` string: Name of the field.
  - `description` string: Description of the field.
  - `fieldType` object
    - `type` string: The type of the field.
    - `typeData` object
      - `listId` string: The ID of the list in the /v1/company/named-lists endpoint.
  - `jsonPath` object
    - `root` string: The path to the field json object. The field value and other properties, such as humanReadable value, will be placed inside.
    - `rawData` string: The path to the actual field value.

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Not Found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
