# Search Goal Cycles

`POST /goals/goal-cycles/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hibob.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.hibob.com/v1/goals/goal-cycles/search`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - HTTP bearer

Search for available goal cycles. Returns all goal cycles accessible to the authenticated user.  <br><br>**Notes**: 
  - Filters are not supported for this
endpoint. Providing filters will result in a 400 error. 
  - Pagination parameters are currently accepted but not enforced.

## Request body

- CycleSearchRequest: Request schema for searching goal cycles
  - `fields` string[], required: List of fields IDs to include in the response. Use the metadata endpoints to fetch the available fields.
  - `filters` object[]: Filters array (currently not supported - must be empty or omitted)
  - `limit` integer: Number of items per page
  - `cursor` string: Pagination cursor for next page

## Response `200`

Goal cycle object fields.

- SearchResponseCycles
  - `items` CycleObject[]: Array of Goal Cycle items
    - `objectType` 'goalCycle': The type of the object
    - `fields` object: Goal cycle fields
      - `id` object: The unique identifier for the cycle
        - `value` integer
      - `name` object: The display name of the cycle
        - `value` string
      - `startDate` object: The start date of the cycle
        - `value` string, date
      - `endDate` object: The end date of the cycle
        - `value` string, date
  - `responseMetadata` object: Metadata about the search response
    - `totalCount` integer: Total number of items available
    - `pageSize` integer: Number of items requested per page
  - `nextCursor` string, nullable: Cursor for next page (null if no more pages)
  - `errors` object, nullable: Error information if any

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request with structured error response
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
