# Update an existing item from a list.

`PUT /company/named-lists/{listName}/{itemId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hibob.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.hibob.com/v1/company/named-lists/{listName}/{itemId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - HTTP bearer

## Path parameters

- `listName` string, required
- `itemId` string, required

## Request body

- UpdateListItemRequest
  - `name` string: Name of the item.
  - `parentId` integer: ID of the new hierarchy parent node.

## Response `200`

List item was updated successfully.

## Other responses

- `404`: If the list or item was not found.
