# Create Project Task(s)

`POST /attendance/project-tasks`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.hibob.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.hibob.com/v1/attendance/project-tasks`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - HTTP bearer

Create one or more project tasks with the specified fields. Supports bulk creation of up to 100 tasks in a single request.

<p><b>Note</b>: Tasks are created as `active` by default. To update the status, use <a href="/reference/patch_attendance-project-tasks-taskid-archive" target="_blank">archive</a>/<a href="/reference/patch_attendance-project-tasks-taskid-restore" target="_blank">restore</a> endpoints</p>

## Request body

- TaskCreateRequest: Request schema for creating project tasks
  - `items` TaskCreateRequestObject[], required: List of tasks to create (1-100 items)
    - `objectType` 'projectTask', required: Type of the object
    - `fields` object, required: Task fields for create request
      - `/projectTask/name` object, required: The task name (required)
        - `value` string
      - `/projectTask/billable` object, required: Whether this task is billable (required)
        - `value` boolean

## Response `201`

Task created successfully

- TaskCreateResponse
  - `ids` integer[]: Array of unique identifiers of the created tasks

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is malformed or includes invalid parameters
- `401`: Authentication failed. Check your service user credentials
- `403`: The service user or token is missing the required permissions to access the requested data
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded - see <a href="https://apidocs.hibob.com/reference/project-tasks#rate-limiting">Rate limits</a>
- `500`: An unexpected error occurred. Try again or contact support if the issue persists.
