# Mark a chat read or muted on LinkedIn

`POST /v1/actions/set_chat_status`

## Request

Mark one conversation read or unread, and mute or unmute it.

The answer repeats what was changed: read and / or muted.

## Request body

- object
  - `chatId` string, required: The conversation id (from list_chats).
  - `read` boolean: true marks it read, false marks it unread.
  - `muted` boolean: true mutes its notifications, false unmutes.
  - `connectionId` string: Which of your LinkedIn accounts to act from (its id from list_linkedin_accounts). Omit to use your first live one.

## Response `200`

It worked. Inside result: chatId.
