# React to a post

`POST /v1/actions/react_to_post`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.heyreagent.com`
- URL: `https://api.heyreagent.com/v1/actions/react_to_post`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

React to one post, or to one comment on it.

postUrl takes the post's link or its socialId. A bare post id is refused.

You send like / celebrate / support / love / insightful / funny; reading reactions back, LinkedIn names them LIKE / PRAISE / APPRECIATION / EMPATHY / INTEREST / ENTERTAINMENT.

## Request body

- object
  - `postUrl` string, required: The LinkedIn post URL.
  - `reaction` 'like' | 'celebrate' | 'support' | 'love' | 'insightful' | 'funny': Which reaction to add (default like).
  - `commentId` string: React to this comment on the post instead of the post itself (its id from list_post_comments).
  - `asOrganization` string: Act as a company page you administer instead of yourself: that page's numeric id. No action here lists the pages you administer.
  - `connectionId` string: Which of your LinkedIn accounts to act from (its id from list_linkedin_accounts). Omit to use your first live one.

## Response `200`

It worked. Inside result: sent, postUrl, reaction, from, usedToday, dailyLimit.

- Worked
  - `ok` true, required
  - `result` object, required: What was asked for. A field that does not apply is left out, or is null.

## Other responses

- `default`: It did not work. The message says why, in plain English.
