# Publish a job posting

`POST /v1/actions/publish_job_posting`

## Request

Publish a job posting draft, free or promoted.

draftId is the job id of a draft: from create_job_posting, or list_job_postings with category "draft".

Two answers are possible. Published: jobState and jobId. Not yet: type EMAIL_VERIFICATION or OTP, and LinkedIn has sent a code — pass it to solve_job_posting_checkpoint.

  - `draftId` string, required: The draft id (from create_job_posting, or list_job_postings category draft).
  - `mode` 'FREE' | 'PROMOTED' | 'PROMOTED_PLUS', required: FREE costs nothing. PROMOTED and PROMOTED_PLUS (ordinary postings only) are paid.
  - `budget` object: Paid modes only: the most to spend per day or per month.
    - `period` 'daily' | 'monthly', required
    - `currency` string, required
    - `amount` number, required
  - `service` 'CLASSIC' | 'RECRUITER': Which LinkedIn product the job posting belongs to (default CLASSIC).
  - `hiringPhotoFrame` boolean: Add the #Hiring frame to your profile picture.
  - `bypassEmailVerification` boolean: Skip LinkedIn's check that you may post for this company.
  - `connectionId` string: Which of your LinkedIn accounts to act from (its id from list_linkedin_accounts). Omit to use your first live one.

## Response `200`

It worked. Inside result: draftId, mode, paid, from, usedToday, dailyLimit, jobState, jobId, type.

## Other responses

- `default`: It did not work. The message says why, in plain English.
