# Mcp Surface

`GET /health/mcp`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.heymetra.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.heymetra.com/health/mcp`
- Auth: none declared

Whether the tool surface actually built, and how wide it is.

The failure the owner suspected all day and nothing could confirm or deny:
a registry that came up empty after a deploy would serve an MCP endpoint
with no tools on it, and every client would report that its tools had
vanished — which is exactly what he was seeing, for an unrelated reason.
Nothing reported the registry's size, so the suspicion could not be settled.

In-process and free: it counts what this container imported at startup.
A count of zero is our fault and says so with a 503, because a surface with
no tools is not a surface.
