# Close This Workspace

`DELETE /api/workspace`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.heymetra.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.heymetra.com/api/workspace`
- Auth: none declared

Close the workspace being acted for, permanently.

The workspace is the one the request is already scoped to — a caller
switches into a workspace to close it. That is not ceremony: the role that
decides whether they may is the role they hold *there*, and reading it from
the context is what makes it impossible to close a workspace using an
admin's rights somewhere else.

## Headers

- `authorization` string, nullable
- `x-workspace-id` string, nullable

## Request body

- CloseWorkspaceIn: The workspace's own name, typed back by the person closing it. A second confirmation in the request itself, not only in the dialog: this is the one call in the product that cannot be undone, and a DELETE that takes no body is one mis-wired button away from firing. Checked case-insensitively against the current name — the point is intent, not typing accuracy.
  - `name` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ClosureOut: What closing took with it, for the confirmation the customer is shown.
  - `connections_archived` integer, required
  - `invitations_revoked` integer, required
  - `approvals_dropped` integer, required
  - `memberships_ended` integer, required
  - `subscription_cancelled` boolean, required
  - `grants_left_behind` integer, required

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
