# Delete Video Translation

`DELETE /v3/video-translations/{video_translation_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.heygen.com`
- URL: `https://api.heygen.com/v3/video-translations/{video_translation_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Permanently deletes a video translation and its associated files. This action cannot be undone.

## Path parameters

- `video_translation_id` string, required

## Response `200`

  - `data` VideoTranslationDeleteResponse: Response for DELETE /v3/video-translations/{id}.
    - `id` string, required: ID of the deleted video translation
