# Delete Brand Kit

`DELETE /v3/brand-kits/{brand_kit_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.heygen.com`
- URL: `https://api.heygen.com/v3/brand-kits/{brand_kit_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Deletes a brand kit and its colors, logos and fonts. This cannot be undone. Videos already rendered with it are unaffected. A kit shared from another workspace cannot be deleted and returns 403.

## Path parameters

- `brand_kit_id` string, required

  - `data` DeleteBrandKitResponse: Response for DELETE /v3/brand-kits/{brand_kit_id}.
    - `brand_kit_id` string, required: Identifier of the deleted brand kit.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `401`: Authentication failed
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
