# Delete Avatar Look

`DELETE /v3/avatars/looks/{look_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.heygen.com`
- URL: `https://api.heygen.com/v3/avatars/looks/{look_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

Deletes an avatar look. Photo avatar, digital twin and kit-based looks can be deleted; studio avatars cannot. Deleting the last look in a group also deletes the group.

## Path parameters

- `look_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful response

- object
  - `data` AvatarLookDeleteResponse: Response for DELETE /v3/avatars/looks/{look_id}.
    - `id` string, required: ID of the deleted avatar look.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `401`: Authentication failed
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
