# List voices for text-to-speech

`GET /v1/audio/voices`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.heygen.com`
- URL: `https://api.heygen.com/v1/audio/voices`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - HTTP bearer

List voices available for TTS generation with cursor-based pagination. Filter by type (public/private), language, and gender.

## Query parameters

- `type` 'public' | 'private'
- `language` string
- `gender` string
- `limit` integer
- `token` string

## Response `200`

Successful response

  - `data` AudioVoiceItem[]
    - `voice_id` string, required: Unique voice identifier.
    - `name` string, required: Display name of the voice.
    - `language` string, required: Primary language of the voice.
    - `gender` string, required: Gender of the voice.
    - `preview_audio_url` string, nullable: URL to a short audio preview of the voice.
    - `support_pause` boolean, required: Whether the voice supports SSML pause/break tags.
    - `support_locale` boolean, required: Whether the voice supports locale variants.
    - `type` 'public' | 'private', required
  - `has_more` boolean: Whether more pages are available
  - `next_token` string, nullable: Opaque cursor for the next page

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `401`: Authentication failed
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
