# Remove a position's override

`DELETE /api/positions/{position_heron_id}/overrides`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.herondata.io`
- URL: `https://app.herondata.io/api/positions/{position_heron_id}/overrides`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

The position goes back to Heron's values. The edit history is kept.

## Path parameters

- `position_heron_id` string, required

## Response `204`

Override removed

## Other responses

- `404`: Position or override not found
- `409`: The end user is still processing
