# Delete an MCP endpoint

`DELETE /api/mcp_endpoints/{heron_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.herondata.io`
- URL: `https://app.herondata.io/api/mcp_endpoints/{heron_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Deletes the endpoint. Its MCP server URL stops resolving immediately.

- `heron_id` string, required

## Response `204`

Endpoint deleted

## Other responses

- `403`: Only the organization's admins and Heron admins can manage MCP endpoints
- `404`: Endpoint not found
