# Create an interaction log

`POST /api/interaction_logs`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.herondata.io`
- URL: `https://app.herondata.io/api/interaction_logs`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Log a user interaction from the frontend.

## Request body

- CreateInteractionLogSchema
  - `attributes` object, nullable: Arbitrary JSON attributes
  - `end_user_heron_id` string, nullable: Heron ID of the end user
  - `name` string, required: Interaction name/type
  - `session_uuid` string, required: PostHog session UUID

## Response `201`

Interaction log created

- InteractionLogResponseSchema
  - `created` string, date-time
  - `heron_id` string

## Other responses

- `404`: End user not found
