# Rate a file's alteration result

`POST /api/end_user_files/{euf_heron_id}/alteration_feedback`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.herondata.io`
- URL: `https://app.herondata.io/api/end_user_files/{euf_heron_id}/alteration_feedback`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Stores an analyst's view that a bank statement's alteration result is right or wrong. The risk, detectors and findings are read from the stored result. A result marked wrong is posted for review.

## Path parameters

- `euf_heron_id` string, required

## Request body

- AlterationFeedbackRequestSchema
  - `comment` string, nullable: The analyst's note on the result
  - `finding_ids` string[]: IDs of the result's findings the analyst marked wrong
  - `rating` 'right' | 'wrong', required: Whether the analyst thinks the alteration result is right or wrong
  - `session_uuid` string, nullable: PostHog session UUID

## Response `201`

Feedback stored

- AlterationFeedbackResponseSchema
  - `interaction_log_heron_id` string, required: Heron ID of the stored feedback

## Other responses

- `403`: Alteration results are not enabled for this account
- `404`: End user file not found, or it has no alteration result
- `422`: Invalid body, or a finding ID that is not in the file's alteration result
- `429`: Too many feedback requests
