# Refresh a user's session using a refresh token retrieved from a previous authentication request.

`POST /v1/authenticate/refresh`

## Request

## Request body

- ApiAuthenticateRefreshRequest: Authenticate against the server with a refresh token.
  - `refresh_token` string: Refresh token.

## Response `200`

A successful response.

  - `refresh_token` string: Refresh token.
  - `properties` ApiProperties: Properties associated with an identity.
    - `default` object: Event default properties.
