# Add a new console user.

`POST /v2/console/user`

## Request

## Request body

- AddUserRequest
  - `username` string: The username of the user.
  - `email` string: Email address of the user.
  - `acl` object: ACL.
  - `mfa_required` boolean
  - `newsletter_subscription` boolean

## Response `200`

A successful response.

- AddUserResponse: Response to create/invite a new user.
  - `user` ConsoleUser
    - `id` string: User identifier.
    - `username` string
    - `email` string
    - `acl` object: ACL.
    - `mfa_required` boolean: Whether the user is required to setup MFA.
    - `mfa_enabled` boolean: Whether the user has MFA enabled.
    - `create_time` string, date-time
    - `update_time` string, date-time
  - `token` string
