# Deletes a feature from the layer

`DELETE /layers/{layerId}/features/{featureId}`

Deletes an existing feature.

## Path parameters

- `layerId` string, required
- `featureId` string, required

## Query parameters

- `versionRef` string

## Response `204`

An empty response as a result of a user-request with accepted MIME type application/x-empty.

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthorized to perform the request.
- `403` — Forbidden request. Insufficient rights to perform the request.
- `404` — Not found.
