# Retrieve the private API version

`GET /version`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://helpspot.example.com/api/v2`
- URL: `https://helpspot.example.com/api/v2/version`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP basic

## Response `200`

Current and minimum supported API version strings, not the HelpSpot application release.

    - `version` string, required
    - `min_version` string, required

- `404`: Not Found
- `405`: Method Not Allowed
