# Create Assistant Flight Handoff

`POST /conv/assistant-flight-handoffs/`

Start a trip from the saved flight a person tapped Book on.

The person came from a public flight page their AI assistant linked, went
through sign-up, and now the app opens a trip holding exactly that flight.
The chat re-checks today's price when they tap Book on the card; nothing
is reserved or charged here. A guest opens the same trip before sign-up,
within a daily cap.
