# Parse multi-sample VCF header

`POST /api/v1/vcf/validate-multisample`

## Request

Parse VCF header and return list of sample names.

Usage: User uploads joint VCF, frontend calls this endpoint to discover
sample names, then presents sample -> role mapping UI before final ingestion.

Epic 1 scope: backend detection only. Auto-inference of roles deferred to
Epic 4-5 (UI-driven).

## Request body

- VcfValidateMultisampleRequest: POST /api/v1/vcf/validate-multisample request.
  - `vcf_file_path` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- VcfValidateMultisampleResponse: VCF multi-sample validation response.
  - `sample_names` string[], required
  - `sample_count` integer, required
