# Move Memories

`POST /v1/memories/move`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.heirmos.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.heirmos.com/v1/memories/move`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Relocate memories (a file or a whole folder) to new paths — pure path change.

Registered before ``/{path:path}`` so ``POST /v1/memories/move`` is not
shadowed by the wildcard (which only serves GET/PATCH/DELETE anyway).

## Request body

- MoveRequest: POST /v1/memories/move — relocate memories (a file or a whole folder). The client computes the explicit per-memory remaps (it knows the tree); the server validates ownership + conflicts and applies them atomically. A pure path change — content/version/embedding are untouched.
