# Synthesize Relation

`POST /v1/insights/relations/{edge_id}/synthesize`

One LLM synthesis DRAFT for a tension edge — returned only, never stored.

Lazy by design (CEO 2026-06-11 Q1-b): the list endpoint stays LLM-free and
the user pays one call only for the contradiction they actually care about.
Accepting a draft = the client saves it via the existing POST /v1/memories.

## Path parameters

- `edge_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- SynthesisResponse: POST /v1/insights/relations/{id}/synthesize — LLM draft only, NOT stored. The user accepts a draft by saving it through the existing ``POST /v1/memories`` (server auto-mutation stays 0).
