# Whoami

`GET /v1/auth/whoami`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.heirmos.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.heirmos.com/v1/auth/whoami`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

U2 — the lightest authenticated probe: auth + two scalar fields, no list
query. The MCP token verifier delegates Bearer validation here (previously
``GET /v1/memories?limit=1``, which paid a memory list just to learn "is
this token valid").

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- WhoamiResponse: GET /v1/auth/whoami — the lightest possible authenticated probe (U2). Exists so the MCP token verifier (and any client health check) can validate a Bearer without paying for a memory list query.
  - `user_id` string, uuid, required
  - `email` string, required
  - `is_admin` boolean
