# Request quotes for the file's ready markets

`POST /broker/submissions/{submission_id}/quote`

## Request

Requests each `ready` market (all, or `program_ids`) through Hedge's
durable quote request; the result arrives on
`GET .../instant-quotes` and `GET .../quotes`. A market that is not
ready says why in `results[]`: `not_ready` (a 409 item with its
`missing[]`), `not_a_fit` (with `reason`), `preparing`,
`already_quoting` or `already_quoted`. The response is 200 when at
least one market was requested or is already quoting or quoted,
else 409 with the same body. Submit scope.
