# Remove a line of coverage

`DELETE /broker/submissions/{submission_id}/coverages/{line}`

The portal's Remove coverage, open to connected apps and machine
credentials. Refused (409) for the file's only line and a bound or
binding line. With markets working the line, a call without
`confirm=true` answers 409 `confirm_required` and writes nothing.
