# Bind progress summary ("N of M items done")

`GET /broker/submissions/{submission_id}/bind-readiness`

Compact bind-progress counts for the submission, mirroring the
portal's bind wizard so the two can never disagree. Returns 404
while bind e-sign is not enabled for the environment.

- object: `exists` is false when the submission has no active bind request.

  - `waiting_signatures` integer: Live signature envelopes still out with a signer
  - `carrier_name` string, nullable
  - `carrier_confirmed` boolean
  - `carrier_policy_number` string, nullable
