# Delete a member

`DELETE /members/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.happyscribe.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://www.happyscribe.com/api/v1/members/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Removes the member from the workspace: their calendar is disconnected and the bots
still scheduled from it are cancelled. Past meetings are kept.

## Response `204`

Deleted.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key, or the key is not an owner or admin of the workspace.
- `404`: No such member in a workspace the key belongs to.
- `409`: The workspace owner cannot be removed.
