# Create an agent identity and one scoped credential

`POST /agents`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://handover.sh/api/v1`
- URL: `https://handover.sh/api/v1/agents`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The bearer credential is returned once. Handover stores only its SHA-256 digest.

## Request body

- CreateAgent
  - `name` string, required
  - `scopes` string[]
  - `expiresAt` string, date-time, nullable

## Response `201`

Agent identity and one-time bearer credential

## Other responses

- `403`: Request error
