# Where a symbol ranks within its sector

`GET /api/insights/{symbol}/peer-percentiles`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.halalterminal.com`
- URL: `https://api.halalterminal.com/api/insights/{symbol}/peer-percentiles`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Rank a symbol against its sector peers on margin, ROE, growth, leverage,
and valuation multiples. Each metric returns the symbol's value, its
percentile within the sector, the sector median, and the peer count — an
absolute number turned into a judgement. Universe-wide from the screening
record, so it is not limited to SEC filers.

## Path parameters

- `symbol` string, required: Ticker symbol, e.g. AAPL.

## Response `200`

Per-metric sector percentile, median, and peer count

- `401`: API key required or invalid
- `422`: Validation Error
- `429`: Quota exceeded
