# Trigger billing data refresh

`POST /api/v1alpha/billing/fetch`

## Request

Force a full BigQuery billing data refresh for the specified month. Defaults to the current month if no time period is provided.

## Request body

- object
  - `time_period` string: Month to refresh in MM/YYYY format. Defaults to current month.

Refresh completed successfully

  - `cost_by_service` CostByService[]: Costs broken down by service
    - `service` string: Name of the service
    - `cost` string: Cost in dollars
  - `compute_cost_breakdown` ComputeCostBreakdown[]: Compute costs broken down by source
    - `source` string: Source of the compute cost
    - `cost` string: Cost in dollars
  - `cost_by_sku_label` CostBySKUSource[]: Costs broken down by SKU and source
    - `service_id` string: Service identifier
    - `service_description` string: Service description
    - `sku_id` string: SKU identifier
    - `sku_description` string: SKU description
    - `source` string, nullable: Source of the cost
    - `cost` string: Cost in dollars
  - `time_period_query` string: Time period for the billing data

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid time_period format
- `401`: Unauthorized or insufficient permissions
- `403`: Forbidden - account is inactive
